Advice for Yoga Beginners

When starting yoga, please remember what a practice is for.

It is a tool for YOU to use to feel better.

Please remember that you come to class because you are taking care of what YOU need.

This is not so easy, especially when we are stressed and busy.

Advice for beginners to yoga is usually about the different types of yoga or how it helps with flexibility.

But come to our yoga class in Pacifica, and you will hear something else.

Your yoga practice is a tool for YOU to feel better.

My biggest advice for yoga beginners:

We get so caught up in taking care of others , that is is rare to find a moment of self reflection and self care in the middle of the day.

I encourage you to find that moment, to listen to what YOU need, and to take that knowledge into your practice.

Yoga for beginners

Your yoga should focus on YOU.

Take the time to focus on what YOU need to manage stress and feel better.

Our classes are smart, effective exercise classes that get you stronger and more flexible.

We work on how to build core strength and overall mobility so you can feel BETTER in and about the body you live in.
