Stretching: Simple Yet Profound

It's a meditative act, this stretching business..

Let’s remember how much STRETCHING can HELP.

Ah, STRETCHING.

Something we don't do- even though we KNOW we should.

Stretching SHOULD be a simple thing.

Just EXTEND your limbs.

Hold.

And BREATHE.

Yet for such a simple thing, the benefits are immense.

Profound even.

I've always found that stretching is not just about physical flexibility but also about mental AGILITY.

When we stretch our bodies, we stretch our MINDS.

We reach BEYOND what we have done before.

Exploring new possibilities.

In places, we have NOT been before.

We get to explore extending ourselves.

In real-time.

What a gift.

It's a meditative act, this stretching business.

It requires focus and CONCENTRATION - qualities that are essential for any kind of success in life.

And yet, this simple act of stretching is also about letting go.

Letting go of the tension and stress that can accumulate in our bodies AND minds over time.

For me, stretching has always been a way to connect with my body.

To understand my limitations and CAPABILITIES.

And to dance around the edges of what I have done before.

Stretching is so simple, and investing 15 minutes daily is worth it.

Just 15 minutes a day, done consistently, is LIFE CHANGING.

Those 15 minutes may initially seem small, but the cumulative effect is UNDENIABLE.
