Stretches For Back Pain

If we are looking for stretches for back pain, the first thing to consider is:

Are we simply tight, or is there an underlying cause of the pain?

There are so many ways to approach stretching for back pain, but the first thing we talk about in ALL our classes is that we want to feel BETTER.

And sometimes feeling better is just a matter of taking a ten-minute stretch break.

From there, we can talk about how to build core and glute strength so your back aches less.

But for today, let’s stretch to feel better.

I think you will find this video helpful; it is a simple follow-along series of stretches for the back that is useful and usable for most levels.

The overall plan for reducing and eliminating lower back pain must include a strength and mobility program like the ones we offer in our classes and programs. To get started, here is one of our favorite stretch routines to reduce that lower back tightness.

If you are a member of our online channel, we have a ton of guided classes, and I recommend you start with this fabulous Seven-Day Stretch Challenge.

If you are not a member and want to learn a few really good low back strengtheners please check out this video that covers four of our favorite exercises to strengthen the lower back.
