How To Use Wrist Weights
We use wrist weights in many of our classes to optimize our exercises. Wrist weights provide an accessible way to add resistance to our strength, mobility, and flexibility exercises. What I love the most is how a simple addition of 1/2 pound can raise the intensity of the exercise without changing it too much.
This short video covers how to use wrist weights and how we optimize four of our exercises with wrist weights.
Benefits of Wrist Weights:
Improved Strength: Adding wrist weights increases resistance, promotes muscle engagement, and boosts overall strength and endurance.
Boosted Metabolism: The additional weight intensifies workouts, leading to a higher metabolic rate and more efficient energy burn.
Joint Stability and Bone Density: Using wrist weights can improve joint stability and support bone health, reducing the risk of injuries.
Increased Workout Efficiency: Incorporating wrist weights into your routine makes each exercise more effective, maximizing the benefits of your workout time.
